Man's journey of faith has always been intertwined with his journey of life. From the very beginning, life itself and belief entered into a mutual dialogue — each shaping, influencing, and transforming the other. They evolved together, inseparable in their unfolding.
Throughout history, human belief evolved from simple, one-directional ideas into complex and structured systems of faith. At every stage of this evolution, belief emerged as a response to the fundamental questions of existence: life and death, fear and protection, nature and the unknown. Early humans sought meaning in the forces that shaped their survival — the sun that gave warmth, the earth that provided nourishment, the storm that destroyed, and the darkness that concealed danger. Believed to be alive with spirit and intention, these forces became objects of reverence, giving rise to animistic worldviews and the earliest forms of idol worship.
Over time, these primal interpretations transformed into myths, rituals, and sacred narratives. What once lived in direct experience became symbol, story, and tradition. Gods were named, cosmologies were formed, moral codes were established, and belief systems began to organize societies, identities, and power structures.
Faith no longer functioned solely as a personal encounter with the unknown, but as a shared language — shaping cultures, legitimizing authority, and offering answers where certainty was impossible. From animism to polytheism, from monotheism to philosophical and mystical traditions, humanity continously redefined its relationship with the sacred.
A Journey Through the History of Faith offers a historical and cultural exploration of belief, examining how faith has evolved across different societies and periods. The focus is not on belief itself, but on its role and transformation throughout human history.

I guide journeys into history.
My journey began in engineering and continued through 15 years of corporate life — a field that deeply shaped the way I think, analyze, and engage with the world. Alongside this path, my curiosity has always extended far beyond technical disciplines.
Psychology, philosophy, religious studies, linguistics, and law have long been areas of strong intellectual interest for me. Yet history remains the space where these fields intersect and converse.
I hold a BA in History from Istanbul University. I continue my academic path with a master’s degree in history and have completed a bachelor’s degree in philosophy.
In parallel with my academic work, I am an event producer and experience designer, creating immersive spaces focused on human connection, embodiment, and lived experience.
